RECIPE OF ORANGE CHICKEN 橙汁鸡丁食谱





Ingredients:

1 chicken breast cut into cubes

Batter for frying
1 egg white
1/2 cup all-purpose flour sifted
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/3 cup water ice cold
1 tablespoon cooking oil
Pinch of salt

Orange Sauce:
1/4 cup orange juice
1/2 teaspoon orange zest
3 tablespoons of water
1 teaspoon of vegetarian mushroom powder
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon of Vietnamese sour sauce
1 teaspoon corn starch
Pinch of salt

Method:
  1. Cut chicken breast into cubes.
  2. Mix the batter for frying, then dip the chicken cubes in the batter. Place in the airfryer @ 200 C for about 20 minutes or golden brown.
  3. Place 1 tablespoon of oil in your pan. Add garlic. Saute garlic until fragrant. 
  4. Add in orange sauce, then cook until it has caramelized (not too watery), then add the fried chicken cubes in. Stir until well combine.
  5. Sprinkle some sesame seeds.
  6. Serve with steamed rice.
